Credizen is a loan comparison platform that helps Canadian consumers compare payday loans, installment loans, and other short-term lending products from licensed lenders across Canada.
- We are not a lender. We do not issue, underwrite, fund, or broker loans.
- We earn commissions from partner lenders when you click through or are matched. These commissions do not affect our ratings or recommendations.
- Lender decisions are made independently based on their own criteria.
3. Eligibility
To use Credizen, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (19 in some provinces)
- Be a Canadian resident or have a valid Canadian address
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Use the service for lawful purposes only
4. User Responsibilities
When using our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate personal and financial information
- Review all loan terms, APR, fees, and conditions before accepting any offer from a lender
- Not use the service for fraudulent purposes or misrepresent your identity
- Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Credizen is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Loan approval from any lender
- Specific interest rates, APR, or loan terms
- Accuracy of lender information at any given time (data is updated regularly but may change)
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Credizen and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any lender's actions, decisions, loan terms, interest rates, or collection practices
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform
- Loss of data or unauthorized access to your information caused by third parties
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Credizen — including text, graphics, logos, data compilations, comparisons, and software — is the property of Credizen or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws.
8. Affiliate Disclosure
Credizen earns revenue through affiliate commissions paid by lenders. For full details, see our Editorial Policy. Commissions never influence our rankings or recommendations.
9. Privacy
Your use of Credizen is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information under PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of Credizen after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
